Freda was our last auntie and I am full of memories of growing up in Leicester with all of our family close by. Especially I remember visiting John and Freda and our cousins on Christmas morning - sharing the excitement of new presents and playing that horse racing game at Tiverton Avenue! We also went there when dad was playing cricket on the Little Rushie - favourite game to collect spent matches {everyone smoked then}! Happy times. John and Freda were good friends to mum after dad died and we always appreciated the time and support they gave her. A great age Freda, sorry you didn't make it to 100 but am sure that your life was much enjoyed and that you will be remembered with great fondness by your close and wider family. M xx
